OK ... this was on in possible late seventies or early eighties.
It featured a Middle Earth type country full of dwarves, the producers actually seemed to have gathered a lot of the little 'uns together to film it.
(Can't remember if it was a one off or a two/three part series)
Story was they kept a glove on all the time to keeep HAND POWER in check, when they duelled they pulled glove off and fired like lightning at each other, they were all dressed as Tudor noblemen and their towns / land was full of sculptures of big hands.
I think one of 'em was him who played Willow.
