Forsensic investigation show in mid 90's

I am trying to remember this programme:

It was when I was at school, between 1995-98.

I think it was BBC but i'm not 100%.

It basically was a bit like crime watch but much better! It had a forensic science expert collecting DNA at a crime scene, as well as putting together great reconstructions , to piece together a murder and how they caught the killer.

Might have had words such as Reconstruction, Crime, Forensics in the title , but again, I'm not sure.

Hope someone might know.

Unfortunately that was a US series, whereas this one was in the UK..

Kind of like a UK version of forensic files maybe.

Oh sorry my mistake I didn't see where is said US, keep checking back someone will remember or find it
