vague recollection of a 70's cartoon

Hi, I have very vague memories of a cartoon I believe was on in the 1970s. About all I can remember was that there were 3 people (possibly) on board a spaceship. One guy was really strong, one was really quick and the girl (again possibly) could... erm... change into things?! If that makes any sense to anyone and they can elighten me I'd appreciate it

We used to play this in the playground. I was Mercury, and my blond pal was Hercules. Shunning girls as much as we could at that young age, we just conveniently ignored Astra even existed. Looking it up on Wiki, it seems counter to my memories that it only lasted one series. Ah well. I'm sure we moved onto another fad.
