I wasn't as keen on Cats Eyes to be honest, so I can't even remember how the theme tune went.

'C.A.T.S. Eyes' had a very edgy electro theme which was highly suitable for the time. I was interested in this series because it was largely filmed at Chatham Dockyard, not far from where I lived back then.

Juliet Bravo and The Gentle Touch were good themes also.

Had a thing for lady cop shows did we You should get C.A.T.S. Eyes in there as well

Probably "Black Beauty" from the early 70's and also "Follyfoot", both memorable themes.

mine would have to be tales of the unexpected, hammer house, shoestring and beachcombers, which incidently i cant find anywhere (the last 1)

I started collecting TV themes in '99 - one of my many hobbies - and, the first time I'd heard it for years, the theme to 'The Rockford Files' (by Mike Post) instantly transported me back to the lounge of the house I lived in during the early '80s. I could visualize everything perfectly. I never actually watched the programme that often, but I used to watch whatever was on before it, and I'd always watch the opening titles of 'The Rockford Files' because I was interested in Jim Rockford's Pontiac Firebird which I recognised through having a Matchbox toy version of the car.

I loved the 6 weeks summer holidays and any of these theme tunes instantly take me back to 1975 or thereabouts...

The Tomorrow People theme. The spookiest TV theme around in the 70's or since-it even beats the old Doctor Who theme for the chill factor.
