Ok, it's vague time again, I'm afraid
I remember this drama from Australia or New Zealand - probobly a kids drama. It had a very distinctive hard-rock style theme tune - like a poor man's "Life in the fast Lane" by the Eagles.
It also had a very distinctive main man in it - quite elfin-like, Bowie-esque - who may of had light mid-to-long hair, perhaps wore dark leathers.
I think he gets hurt at some point (gangters?). I think motorbikes may have featured. Maybe some kids are helping him?
Must have been shown on UK tv in the eighties.
