Ws just thinking ( dangerous I know! )..
Late seventies and into the eighties there seemed to be skates on loads of films/progs - - -
Rollerball .
Then there was an episode of Charlies Angels where a similar but non-lethal version was played and the girls had to infiltrate one of the teams.
Then we had an episode of Buck Rogers where the big entertainment was some couples spinning round on roller boots.
Then there was some film (I can't remember title ) where these teenagers on another planet ran away from the tyrant controllers and skated about in the wastelands.
Also roller disco's popped up all over the country and I think there was even like marathons but they wore skates instead of trainers
Anyone else remember any of these or feel like adding to my list?
