    Ok here goes...

Does anybody remember this or am I tripping!?

The show in question that I am trying to find was a live action US Sci-fi show that, I think, replaced 'Star Fleet' on Saturday mornings on ITV.

The premise for the show was that a family would move from location to location thus encountering an adventure or what have you. whether they were 'jumping' ala 'quantum leap' to another world or dimention I am not sure.

What I am sure about is that in one episode, the children of the family formed a band and started to perform Beatle's songs which the imhabitants of these planets/other diamentions hadn't heard and of course loved the songs and the band was going to be massive. However the father of the family did not agree with them using other people's songs and so they had to move on to another adventure.

Another episode I recall the family ending up in some kind of a new community and that the shop had cans of food which had white lable with brief discriptions of their contents, such as 'MEAT' etc

yeah I know.. I'm tripping right... The only other thing is I think it was called 'Other Worlds'. I've tried all the usual serches: Google; Wiki; Youtube etc but found nowt!

    Can anybody help?

    Thanks

I'm also certain that it didn't replace 'Star Fleet' either because this was made and broadcast much later. I read that the Sci-Fi Channel has broadcast this on the odd occasion too so maybe I'll get to see it again and feel all nostalgic!

      Cheers!
