Any remember this - please help!

Does anyone remember the name of a tv drama series shown around 1980-1982 about the owner of a textile factory who was having an affair with a model/clothes designer? The man was scottish and his wife was a nurse - I think his name was 'Jack". One of the women in his life gets very ill. I know its not much to go on but its driving me mad! I used to watch it when I was pregnant with my first child.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks MarineBoy - I've now remembered that the series was set in the 1960/s. The drama centered around the fact that Jack's wife was portrayed as a hard-working nurse and his mistress was a blonde, well spoken, glamour model. I was Googling to the wee small hours last night and -Nothing!!

Hi Dave - I'm sure it was ITV - maybe even Yorkshire TV. The actress who played the model looked a bit like Alexandria Bastedo from 'The Champions". She was in many tv dramas.

Ha! I've found it! It was called 'Mackenzie' - a scottish builder (Jack Galloway) whose wife was played by Linda Bellingham and his mistress was played by Shelia Ruskin. It was shown on BBc in the autumn of 1980.
