80's or 90's kids shows about a tree and garden

hi all, just wondering if anyone has a better memory than me and knows about a kids show in the late 80's early 90's about a garden and this massive tree and when you put a seed into the tree it turned into a very specific plant.. like a boiled sweet plant or something like that.

any help would be muchly appreciated and fawned over
