does any one remember Land of the Giants a kids programme from the late 60`s early 70`s?
we used to love it.

Wasn't it on on a sunday luch time back in the eighties? I can remember watching it while waiting for my luch..it was on channel four.

CH4 showed all sorts on a Sunday in that time slot, including time tunnel and something on a submarine, all Irwin Allen series I believe.

The submarine series was 'Voyage to the bottom of the sea.' was kool following on formt he film of the same name, but the series had the way kool 'Flying Sub' in it.

I remember this, along with a number of other Irwin Allen series' such as The Time Tunnell, Lost In Space and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

None of them, if I remember coreectly were ever wrapped up properly and given an "ending" as such - maybe there were plans to continue them at some point?

was it 3 series bout 25 episodes in each i think great sunday tv

it was 2 series over 3 yrs 68 69 and 70 mate

51 eps in total.

There was a VW Ad a few years ago that spoofed LOTG, with a shrunken woman hiding from a giant cat in a Matchbox sized Polo.

There was a good progamme about Irwin Allen on TV 3-4 years ago, mentioned the giant hand prop used in most episodes.

Seamed to be more when it was on tv but i wasnt far out lol just a series with out lookin it up
