  • late 80s early 90s kids show possibly BBC1

    Can anyone help me?!

    No, not like that.

But if you could help name the kids show i'd be really quite grateful.

The only bit i can remember is a girl, her friend and possibly her younger brother in a chip shop/cafe putting a magnet at the back of a fruit machine and emptying it of money the chip shop/cafe owner sees them and shouts at them then they run out.

Sorry not a lot to go on. I have tried googling various phrases and come up with nothing.

    cheers

There was a childrens tv drama series in 1986 but that was two years before Gruey.

        "Running Scared" (1986)

          thanks!!!

this is rather confusing without video clips.

it could be either one of the two then.

Did Gruey have an older girl in it?

Gruey's best friend in the series was a character called Annie Mappin and if my memoery serves me correctly she was much taller than Gruey

Might help rule it out one way or another
