80s kids TV - educational/animated - poss. Channel 4?
I was probably confusing other programmes too, but that was the main one I was thinking off!
Thank you
No worries, I wouldn't have got it if you didn't say antenne though, I think I know the character you mean lol
I used to watch these too, it was really an awsome show, kinda a very strange atmosphere to the whole series but in a good way.
Apparrently there were others, once upon a time...Man...Space...Life...Americas...Discoverers ...Explorers...and even one called Once upon a time...Planet Earth that came out in 2008!
The one I really watched the most though and remember fondly was Once upon a time...Life.

Hiya
You said this in the first post
"Part of me seems to recall they zoned into a particular place in the world, and looked at their culture, people, etc?? But I may be confusing another kids show here."
This sounds more like Max the 2000 years old mouse so you indeed may have a fluffy alien confused with a fluffy mouse - different series
80s kids TV - educational/animated - poss. Channel 4?
Hello everyone
I've been trying to remember an animated kids TV series, which I think used to be on early mornings on Channel 4 in the 80s. It's been bugging me for years and years and I'm sure I'm not imagining it!
If I recall, it was educational.
The only real thing I can remember is that it featured outer space/galaxy, with a guy in a spaceship that appeared to be always circling around planet Earth.
The 'guy' (alien?) was particularly identifiable because he was like this plump hairy/furry thing, and I'm sure had antennae's coming out of the top of his head. He was kinda like a wise-man/wizard in his demeanor.
Part of me seems to recall they zoned into a particular place in the world, and looked at their culture, people, etc?? But I may be confusing another kids show here.
Sorry for lack of any better description - I'm sure if someone can picture the main character they'd know exactly what I was talking about.
