Does anyone remember this series? The IMDB entry says it ran from 1968 to 1972 but my recollection has it as later.

Robert Harbin, the noted magician, presented the show with a young women of oriental appearence. I think the idea was that she was teaching him the art of paper folding, but unfortunately, I'm sure Robert seemed to come out of it as the authority. (This could be my inacurate memory.)

I've been searching the internet for more information about this series, but without success.

    I remember watching it.
As far as I recall it was how you describe it. She taught him.
All very exotic in the late 60's/ early 70's.
I also remember it being later than that too

Also do you remember those lovely little packs of Origami paper that you bought?

So waxy feeling and brightly coloured? My nan bought me some, but I only ever managed to make a"stork" or something like that?

And while we are on this subject of paper folding - does anyone remember the funny little folded "question Box" that you used to make in middle school? you put 4 fingers in it and openend and shut it and it landed on a question?

Yes,i remember that.It was pretty easy to make.Start with a square piece of paper and fold all the corners into the middle. Then, you turn the paper over and do the same again. Very similar to making a Gondola.
I still have a couple of origami books

Here's one for you to try (not sure what that is on Robert Harbin's head. Looks like he's tried to make some hair out of Origami Paper)
