it was a movie about a big monster(describing him as not handsome and really looks big and scary) with superstrength and hidden treasures on a ship. On one scene the monster was tied or was in chain i couldn't really remember while watching a tv together with the captive child who is tied also for which he was also able to befriend...this monster guy is huge and ugly but did a heroic thing in the end...the characters in that movie are small kids somehow or maybe as i could remember where in there elementary years...the movie was centered on treasure hunting...there was a ship which i think was owned by that ugly monster...the kids in the story where really intelligent...there enemies are these bad guys who tied that monster...in one of the scenes in that movie a child (of a japanese father if i havent mistaken) was using tricks or shall we say more gadgets or devices like the one when he was about to fall ...that device had teeth which bites and holds him so as not to fall from a bottomless pit...during their chase and i saw him also use his shoes with some slippery chemicals under its sole and put it in that wood(if i have not mistaken) so that the enemies would slip and fall...also i have seen in one of the early starting scenes there was these kids who travel from a house using ropes and sliding towards the other house...where the entrance towards the area for the hidden treasure was found...before the movie ends there was a ship which freely sailed back to freedom as i could understand it was owned by that monster...and the kids meet there parents including that tricky japanese father whom i think is an inventor... sorry if its too long...its just i wanna see this movie again hope you can help...
