californian highways

There was a programme in the 80's and the lyrics to the theme song were 'californian highways your taking me back home,taking me back home x2, and then 'too many city lights too many barroom fights da da da,da da da da' i cant remember the lyrics.

It was on in the middle of the day about 12 o clock, i think,
I think it was some sort of american travel programme,
Does anyone remember this or know what it was?,
any help would be great thanks, ive been trying to find out what the programme was for ages.

I remember the song, though I think it was titled Califonia Highway.

From what I can remember it was on mid morning on Sundays on either ITV or Channel 4.
