Anyone remember this sitcom?? Please??

Does anyone remember a sitcom in the late 70's (I think) about a family, where the Dad was a cartoonist working from home? He used to sit at an easel / drawing table, and draw with a lion glove-puppet on his hand ...

Seem to remember it being a bit, well, er ... not quite so good.

It's just annoying me that I can't remember the name of it!
