The original 1960s ones were, but the re-boot in the mid '80s did not have a present...

    Night Gallery
Home (really REALLY long '80s Aussie soap series set in a kids home)
Kids (1970s drama also set in a kids home, with the late James Hazeldine)
    The Enigma Files
    Jangles (with Hazel O'Connor)
Dear Heart (Summink about a kids Agony Aunt)
Dream Stuffing (Channel four sitcom about two gals in a council flat)

    Any takers?
I remember Jangles, Jesse Birdsall was in it aswell.

How about Bunch of fives, seem to remember it was a similar thing.

I did like Machine Gunners as a kid.

It was on Beeb 1 originally, I think they repeated /remade it in the 1990s.

I remember all 3 of those,, especially the 1st 2.

At school we read The Machine Gunners a few years after the TV series was on.

I only caught the odd episode of the Invaders, I was a but young for it, at times it could be quite creepy. I've read it was axed before they made an episode to end it.

Or even the Dandyke Mysteries with Michael Craig as a vicar detective or summat?
Or the never repeated Sharpe Intake of Breath (phew!) with David Jason - who has only made one sitcom his whole life - called Fools & Horse Manure, which isn't true of course, but the bloody BBC wants us to think it is!!!
