    kids tv - black and white 'timelapse gymnastics' intro?

    hallo all,

    this has been bugging me for quite a while. i was born in 1969 and vaguely remember a kids show with has a black and white intro with kids kind of doing gymnastics, cartwheels etc across the screen, i think in black and white. i was kind of slow-motion timelapsed so that the previous images were displayed for a short while afterwards giving it an eerie effect. this music was also quite futuristic, mainly percussive and electronic - quite ahead of it's time.

    does anybody else remember this show - possibly around 1976? i'd love to hear that music again. unfortunately i cant remember the plot but i'm guessing it had a sci-fri tinge to it. i'm thinking it was more ITV than BBC1 or 2..

    please note, any one or more of the faded memories above could be incorrect!

    Yes, the theme had a kind of electronic whip-lash sound. I remember the kids who featured in the show were picked because they were gymnasts, rather than going for actors and then trying to teach them gymnastics. But the name of the show.....agh! I just can't remember. But someone here will know.

        'Out of Bounds'! That's certainly the show I'm thinking of. But the tune I have associated with it in my head isn't Autobahn. Are you sure that was the track used, huggie?

            I remember this programme and I remember the tune - it is Autobahn by Kraftwerk - although it is just a snippet used in the theme tune - haven't heard that tune for 30 years, weird hearing it again
