Re: TV/Films That Scared You.
By pizza slice, i assume you mean the implement used to cut it, rather than as i first thought, an actual slice of pizza. That would rank as probably the worst weapon in TV and Film historyOriginally posted by peskykid1975 View PostDoes anyone remember an American mini-series called "Don't Go To Sleep"? A little girl ended up killing all her family, after she couldn't get over her sister being trapped in a car and dying 'cos she tied her shoelaces together. She chased after her Mum with a pizza slice. I hunted it down on ebay a few years ago....was weird seeing it again after 20-odd years!
I was also scared of the episode of Sapphire & Steel where the man didn't have a face.

JAWS!!! When I hear that music i just wanna run and hide! I blame it for making me never want to go in any form of water! Except the bath and shower and pool! I'm even scared of rivers and lakes!

Just remembered 2 others,
The witch from Mumfie the elephant(puppet version not the cartoon)
And this werewolf movie, think it was hammer house. My mum spents hours trying to convince me it was just a man with a wolly hat on his head which it did look like and grounding my sister for letting me watch it.

Hammer House of Horror - The House That Dripped Blood. The scene at the children's party where the water pipes in the kitchen break, move, and spurt blood everywhere. Watching the scene again today still scared me.

Re: TV/Films That Scared You.
The Head from Art Attack used to scare me when I was little (the puppet head, not the real actor they used in some seasons). The way he'd rock his head from side to side when he laughed really scared me, as I was convinced it would fall off!
Also, the MGM/UA Home Video logo from the 80s always used to terrify me (not sure why, as the lion didn't even roar then, but it was still scary to me!). I came across it on an old video recently, and jumped out of my skin! I guess some things never change...

I'm ashamed to admit that The crow that was on BBC 2 in the 80's before playschool scared the life out of me.... as did some of the baddies on the adventure game!

Re: TV/Films That Scared You.
I remember watching a re-run of Star Trek (the Original series) when I was quite young which scared the life out of me. The crew landed on a planet where these alien pancake-thingys were killing the locals -one landed on Spock's back and I freaked out. I remember my parents telling me that they weren't real and were probably made of rubber gloves or someother harmless object, but I was certainly troubled by it all!

The singing ringing Tree
How scary was this for small children to be watching! All I can remember is lots of snow and a deer or a reindeer that used to get stuck in it all the time and a horrible dwarf!
