For me the scarriest TV had to be ITV's Thriller...I can remember my Nan babysitting on Saturday nights & she used to let me stay up and watch this with her.....They were all really scarey but especially the one with Diana Dores.......
I can also remember those public info programmes used to scare me s***less!!!!...

    Kind regards

Not sure I've seen the original. Although I'm sure I've seen a few crappy re-makes.
Reminds me of one of my all time best Horrors "The Haunting"
    The banging on the wall...

"Late Night Story" used to rattle me something awful. As if having Tom Baker read "The Emissary" or somesuch to you wasn't unnerving enough, they had to go and preface it with this...

I agree with Huggie about the likes of Saw: Torture Porn they call it. although it wasn't bad - it's the others in the genre I'm not keen on.
This stuff doesn't scare me in the slightest, so I wonder why people watch it. I always think of Horror as "Fairy Tales for Adults" and I want to be spooked (it's actually theraputic - I kid you not) but don't put me off me dinner! Scary, yeah, gross, no!
I couldn't eat pizzas for months after that scene in one of the Knightmare on Elm Street films.
    Not to mention The Fly...
Actually, it probobly helped my waistline...

I never have been easily scared, but the Diana Dors one certainly gave me the chills.

I nearly hit the cinema ceiling when the bodypart fell out of the hole in the boat in Jaws & when Jason sprang out of the water at the end of Friday the 13th.

Loved 'It' & The Omen. Didn't scare me though.

Ghost Watch was genius. Realised it was a drama way before the end & thought it was really well done.

Thank you! I watched Trilogy of Terror on YouTube a couple of nights ago convinced that this was one of the stories and was disappointed to find it wasn't. I was only thinking this morning I'll have to start a thread asking if anyone remembers which film it was.

    I love this site
