Im new to this not sure how it works lol how do you look up cetain things like old sweets?

We have a defunct sweets thread pinned in the Food and Drink section, but it's fine to start threads relating to one particular sweet if you wish.

If you put Splicer into the search bar at the top of the page it brings a list of every thread it is mentioned on. Click the thread that interests you most then where it say's search thread click that and again type splicer (or whatever) this time it narrows it down for you to all posts.
