You don't see many younger people wearing them until they have been made to, but my Dad has a wardrobe full of cords.

Doc Martins have become very fasionable again and are massivly expensive

I actually live near their head office and the company I work for do work for them

they are making a bit of a come back and opening new stores all over the place

I recently bought some new adidas trainers that were almost identicle to the sort i used to wear in the 80's and too say that they were a little bit more expensive is a bit of an understatement. Adidas have caught on to the retro market and puma do a good range of old style trainers and tracksuits

I used to have a brown Adidas tracksuit, from the late 70s/early 80s before they went shiny.
The main colour was a light sandy brown, & the logo and stripes were a darker chocolate brown.
It went a long time ago, and it would be way too small for me now, but I still wish that I kept it.
I would absolutely love to have one now in the same colour scheme & material, but finding one in decent condition is next to impossible.
I've been scouring the web for years to find one.
Suffice to say, in my opinion this tracksuit (the top in particular) would be very cool to wear in 2013.
But a newer, lesser type would be the complete opposite.

And along the same lines, all the Nike Air Jordans & Air Force, and Reebok Pumps I owned in the 90s would be awesome to wear now.
The old models are available online, but the prices are usually ridiculous.
I've seen pairs of Jordans identical to the ones I got for 35 quid in 1993 go for £300+ !!! Crazy.

I was into this kind/type of clothes "scene" too Wake Up Call. I recall a brilliant Dc Martin Shop in Blackpool - I don't know if it's still there as Max Griggs went away from the scene himself for a bit (or he did after his troubles with Rushden and Diamonds Football Club). The shop in Blackpool though was amazing, definitely the scene for "clothes for clubbing" when I was young, though I never really was a "Clubber" I could not help but marvel at them too - though the prices were out of my league, I'd of sure bought them to wear for other times too. I still wear similar kind of things like Tommy Hilfiger and Fred Perry/Henri Lloyd though as it all seems to have that "air" about them I think

I buy a lot of vintage. I have a lovely 80's cardi, it's fully lined, very warm and has plastic gems sewn to the front, it''s cerise. And a nice 70's dress. The only giveaway really is the pointed lapels on the collar.

I lost my 1985 jacket, I was still wearing up to when I lost it two years ago.

Flares. Fab. With a heel - white flared jeans. Love em to bits!

Yes, tight fit trousers with narrow leg bottoms are still in now and why? Very unflattering on most people. I have stuck with my trusty boot cuts and boyfriend jeans. And as for leggings and jeggings and all the other ings, bad enough when the bum is covered but round my way women like to let it all hang out, and usually there's a lot to hang out! Jenny Everetts take on Rod Stewart sums it up

The jacket & jeans look started in the 1980s, Jeremy Clarkson seems to like it.
