My vote goes to both because both look good, people just need to wear them according to the event, my hubby also wears both of them, but in office, he only prefers to wear shirts, and in any family event he wears polo.
Men look good either they wear polo or shirts.

It is good to see Long Sleeved Polos returning and being worn with Blazer (amongst a lot of yuppies/up-starts) I think yas was the case in the late late 80s and early 90s yeah ... and hopefully it'll take off with ties too

In-particular Long Sleeved ones - i have got relations who went to School in the last 10 years or so (and was also Members of rugby and Footy Teams0 who had to be "suited and booted"! and wore them instead of Shirts in both instances!

I'm going to have to go for Fred Perry polo shirts. They used to go very well with nicely polished Dr Martens.
I took my son for a short break in The Isle of Wight a few years back over the August Bank Holiday. It was the annual scooter festival. I don't think I've ever seen as many Fred Perry's and oxblood/cherry red boots in one place!

Especialy likre at School - trying to outwit the Teachers with a Polo in place of a Shirt .... like Freddie on Grange Hill invarably did

Par wearing my School Tie skinny side-out - this was my greatest "crime" at School .... I never got why so many favoured Trainers as a "Uniform Defiance" instead!!
