What about the huge range of "Frankie Says...." T-shirt slogans that were around in the 80's? I remember a lot of girls wearing them especially. My mate returned from a daytrip to Skegness with a T-shirt that had the following slogan:-
"I don't give a F*** what Frankie says!" - as a response to all the others
I thought it was really funny at the time, lol.
Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time.
Does anyone remember Jean-Jacques Burnel (Stranglers) wearing one on Top of the Pops which, from a distance looked like the Ford logo but close up it was the "F" word?
I go back to the original Jethro Tull - Yes! The seed drill inventor!
^ Don't recall JJ ever wearing it, but Hugh Cornwell was infamous for his.
They had their set cut short at the Rainbow after the GLC took offence to that shirt
I had a Howard Jones t-shirt that was XXXL in size (they were all like that, I believe). It had big pink letters on it that read 'Like to Get to Know You' and there was a graphic of a pointing hand. Think it had the word 'Howard' on the back, too.
My favourite was one i got from Ibiza in the late 80's. It featured Wylie E Coyote doing something naughty to roadrunner whilst saying "Beep beep now you b*****d".
