I'm pretty sure me and my brother had a pair of those Power trainers back in the 70s! IIRC we likely got them from the local sports shop in the village.

I was not into fashion if i liked trainers i got them and if i could afford them or if my mom could afford them.

But yes nike air are very nice.

these are well nice darren! I recall these trainers quite well!

For me in the 1980s/1990s you could never beat nike air trainers no doubts!

Sometimes almost all one colour can be a bit overpowering but these are not too bad.

Im pretty sure there are lime green ones too.

i recall these kind being trendy, darren. Like lime-green ones and footy club ones with the crest/badge on them

i think i can recall seeing blue ones like these too and possibly a recent-er version (as seems to be the trend to re-make old clothing from past glories)

YES THE LETTERING IS QUITE BIG..

I ALWAYS FELT LOOKING AT ELLESSE TRAINERS THEY WOULD BE EXPENSIVE MAYBE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FACT ITS AN ITALIAN COMPANY.

These are very nice indeed Darren!

Ellesse used to be a great brand I recall ... even rivalling Puma/Rebook etc for a bit!! Though I like these I think that the lettering for their name is a bit over the top/too big sadly!

Would have been a bit earlier than that, the "Casual" scene favoured those brands too.

OK I wasn't that into noticing the brands until then.

Ellesse is one brand I had forgotten in, there seemed to be period in the late 1980s - early 1990s when French & Italian sportswear seemed to be very popular.
