You can't remember Treats???? They were one of the most popular sweets in the 70's and 80's!
            Heaven knows I'm miserable now.

                  Dear Sixyten, and others

I have spend the last 20 mins looking through this thread. I humbly bow down to you 1st for the amazing collection of old sweet wrappers posted. Nearly each one brought back some long frogotten feeling or other of my childhood. And I thank all others who have posted here too!! I usually come on here after a few evening bevvies, so sometimes feeling a little nostalgic but this is awsome!!

I forgot how my diabetes 1st started and now I know LOL

                    I second that!

Its an old thread but Ive not been on the forum in over a year and this I have to say is the most impressive collection of sweet wrappers I've seen yet.

Why on earth do they focus so much on marketing and packaging these days, I am pretty sure that kids of the 70's and 80s and adults too ate just as much as they do today, the humble packaging says it like it is, no song and dance or false beliefs. you know you get a fancy wrapper these days and inside the bar is half the size, half the flavour, not to mention expensive, disappointing !
Texan was always my fave and Oh I just remembered those Phantom Chews on Page 1, I was captivated by them!

Took me 20 minutes too lol

, the Defunct sweet thread is still worth a look too, this thread was made after lots of the pictures there were pulled by one poster, but it still contains some gems, as I spent hours (days) painstakingly replacing them all. https://forums.doyouremember.co.uk/t...Defunct-sweets
