Festival - 80's Chocolates.

Does anyone else remember a box of chocolates around in the 80's called Festival or Festivals. They came in a carton like Roses and Quality Street but the carton was sort of a octagon shape. I don't think they were around for that long. I'm pretty sure they must have been around early-mid 80's sometime.

I thought we had a picture on board some where, but I'm having trouble finding it.
I've definitely heard of them before.

I remember them very well. My grandma used to buy them sometimes for us to eat if I was staying overnight. Happy days!

There was a post but seems long gone.
I was in the TV advert, in a cast of thousands
Three local schools were involved in the making of the advert (Ashburton, Edenham & another I can't remember).

We bought it when we arranged a school reunion many years back.
This would have been filmed in 1981

Wow that certainly brings it back to me! I must admit I never liked them that much but ate them because my gran bought them and loved them!

Ah thanks Sixtyten, that ad does bring back some memories! How long were Festivals around for and when were they discontinued, does anyone know?
