These were usually found in the local cake shop. Basically an ice cream cone with chocolate covered marshmallow on the top in place of the ice cream. I think it was mostly firm marshmallow a bit like the sweets but sometimes it was soft marshmallow like you get inside Tunnocks tea cakes. These were one of my favourite treats but they seemed quite rare even then. Our cake shop never had them all the time.

i sure cant recall seeing them over here at any time.
but i just love marshmallow and if id seen them id have had them.FOR THE HONOUR OF GRAYSKULL

They've been around as long as I can remember. All of the local bakers in my town made their own versions of them. You could get them covered in chocolate, with 100's & 1000's on even a mixture of the 2. One bakery did them like a '99' with a small piece of flake in. That was my favourite when I was a kid in the '70's.Heaven knows I'm miserable now.
