Re: Fave Sweeties, and sweets that should be brought back
Some Ikea stores still sell them (the one's that have the food store section like Warrington). They are under a different name but the wrapper is unmistakable.

I rediscovered them a few weeks ago (Sainsbury's) and currently have about 16 in my cupboard - just in case they try to take them away from me again. They're called Daim now.Originally posted by Krazy View PostDime Bars are still sold around by where I live. I am sure I had one a few months ago, but I could be mistaken.

If I remember correctly, Applause came in brown wrappers.Originally posted by darren View Postremember applause was it not in a red or orange wrapper.
Then there were those odd 'Secret' bars, chocolate mousse wrapped in strands of chocolate supported in a cardboard tray. Strange but nice.
I used to enjoy the occasional Cadbury's Spira, even though it was just milk chocolate.

Splicer is one of my all time favourites. I'd love 'em to be brought back. Also Cadbury's Sunfruits. This is a little known bar from the 80's that I loved!! Got a picture of one somewhere! Shame I aint got a bar though
Oh and Sherbert Shandy Lollies!

Fuse was my favourite chocolate bar! I was gutted when they stopped making them. I also miss Terry's Waifer. Much more substantial and better tasting than a kitkat.

Re: Fave Sweeties, and sweets that should be brought back
In addition to those already mentioned, I used to love those milk teeth sweets that recently ceased to exist. Also, as mentioned in other forum discussions, Cadbury Fuse bars were great.
Other than that, I would love to bring back the confectionery of old that didn't come in the all-in-one plastic rubbish we get nowadays. I am still very sad that I cannot get Cadbury Dairy Milk and, in particular, Fruit & Nut bars in the foil and paper packaging I grew up with. Thank god Nestle saw sense on the two-finger Kit Kat.
