Blobs?

Sweets called Blobs? The name rings a bell, ding dong. These sweets had a hard exterior, with soft inside, toffee apple flavor, apple outside toffee inside, and strawberry and cream, strawberry outside, cream inside.

Or were they secret agents? they were kool, but not as funky as Spangles mind you.

Secret Agents had a code/story/puzzle or something printed inside the wrapper if I rem correctly..

yes remeber that the messages, like Bazooka Joes with the little comic strips along with the chewing gum.

Yep. The flavours were Toffee Apple (green & brown swirled boiled sweet, toffee stuff in the middle), Cider, Strawberries and cream
They were made by Trebor and had an advertising campaign featuring a yellow monster in a green hat that covered his eyes who was a fan of the sweets, much to the disgust of his garbage-munching counterparts.

Later on, Trebor used the same moulds to make Double Agents, choc lime sweets with a secret agent theme.

I loved blobs! I remember sending away tokens from blobs wrappers for an inflatable monster and an inflatable Patch..wish I still had them.
