Re: General Retro Foodie Lovliness .... And Not So Lovliness
Yes Poet,
Ice Magic blew my little mind when it came out, loved the stuff.
I remember chocolate, chocolate orange & chocolate mint, can anyone remember what the other flavour was ?
You can still get similar products.
And Wickers........
I would almost kill for a few bags of the Prawn Cocktail ones.
Used to get them from a massive vending machine at the local swimming pool.
They were covered in 'flavour powder' & were so strong.

I think the other Ice Magic flavour might have been caramel. Don't quote me on that though!Originally posted by DemonEyeX View PostYes Poet,

Something else that I remember and loved, 5 4 3 2 1 biscuits. They were sooooooo nice. Miss those.- Rik Mayall Fanpage On Facebook

Why was ice magic so popular? Don't get me wrong I was as excited as everyone else when it came out but it was basically nasty choc ice type chocolate. Very good advertising though as everyone wanted it.1976 Vintage

Strange, in your post earlier in this thread you say you don't remember Ice Magic. Now it's the 'loveliest thing' you ever ate. You'd not forget something like that.Originally posted by darren View Postice magic was gorgeous.
one of the loveliest things ive ate.Heaven knows I'm miserable now.

Criss Cross - Now this is something I really don't remember. I don't ever remember Cadbury making anything savoury.
Milky Way's back in the day when they had lovely brown whippes centres, but no-one I know seems to remember that. They had bloody brown centres for about 40 years or something, how the hell can they forget?!
