  • Silver plastic "Tank" containing chewing gum..

Only saw this once on holiday in late 70's..
It was a very small silver coloured plastic Tank, about an inch long, which opened up and had a small piece of chewing gum inside.
Don't think it was a big brand, just a cheap one, so doubt anyone will find any info, but if anyone ever saw or bought one, i'd be interested

This rings a bell with me. I think my friend bought one. It seemed more of a "novelty" thing. One kid bought one, everybody else bought one. They were the type of thing that were in the shop today, gone forever the following day. It was probably done by the same people that produced a small toy coffin (!) that contained chewing gum.

I can't remember these but I often had trains full of sherbert, & Boneshakers, coffins full of bone shaped sweets that could be fitted together to make a skeleton.
