I can vaguely remember Dentyne. Did it used to have a liquid centre when you bit into it?
Oh to be a kid again with a can of Top Deck on a hot summer day, now that would be good.

Nope. it was thin and flat and hard
Are you not thinking of Freshen Up? That has a liquid centre

I used to really like dentyne gum. Especially the one in the red and white pack. Think it was sorta clove flaovour. Really nice! I also remember freshen up. The flavour of that didn't last very long imo. Beech Nut was my favourite though. My Grandma used to eat it all the time. Think thats where my preference came from.
          Heaven knows I'm miserable now.

All I know is, when I had it, it will have been about late 70s ish. Was Freshen Up around then?

I remember Germolene Bubblies. Not sure if they were actually Germolene flavour but it was pretty like it. Are you from the North? Maybe it was a northern thing!

anyone remember the very strong tasting cinaman gum that came with a set of cards with pictures from b-movie /horror films that had stupid unfunny jokes on them eg a picture of lon channey as the wolf man with a caption that read something like "johnny was allways unhappy when he hadnt shaved for a few days"

That sounds like the "You'll die laughing" cards

The "Die laughing" card we remember were actually repacked as "Creature Feature"
The originals were issued in the 50's
