I have a packet in front of me now. Granted, the packaging is different - much bigger bag - but they are just as tasty.

I too have just been eating Galaxy Counters! Yes they are just as tasty but sadly not quite the same, they're bigger in size and not quite as polished :-( why can't they make them exactly as they used to be (am I expecting too much??) however, they're still very moreish :-)

They are just as tasty but I'd prefer the old packaging especially the packet with the pelican on it!

they look more aimed at the adult market now rather than the fun packaging we had.

Oh god I often talk about these! I loved them. I could buy them from the filling station my mum and dad used to use. I always chose them if I was allowed a treat. I remember the packet with the giraffe on the front. Yes, they do do them again now but while they are nice, they are just not the same! I loved the smaller size and the shinyness! They were far far superior to chocolate buttons.

yep the giraffe packet was always the one i would go for. husband saw them in tesco a couple of months ago and bought me a packet..... ((sad sigh)) just not the same.. they're too big and not as creamy as i remember, but would still choose them over cadbury's

I remember the giraffe packets but not the owl or pelican. Agree on creaminess.

Same here, Percy Pelican was responsible for starting my lifelong love of pelicans

Was so happy when Counters were brought back, I wrote a thank you email to Mars Customer Services Pleased to say I got a nice reply, sadly no free Counters though!

Wow i sure remember these.
the packaging is so familiar with the pelican.

and they where so creamy and shiny.
one of the nicest sweets i ever had.

never realised they where back or perhaps the new pacakaging caught me out.

the packaing we had was more fun but the packaging now is also very nice.
and i bet a bag of them now is not 3 pence.

think ill have to give them a try and see for myself how they compare.
