I'm sure I remember having something like a fat frog lolly. The advert sparked a distant memory for me. Were they available outside Ireland?

I remember an ice lolly in the shape of a frog, it had a weird flavour to it that I could never quite place. No idea what they were called though.

EDIT: It was the one in the ad above that I didn't know someone had posted.

As well as Funny Feet, there were also Funny Faces. Can't believe nobody's mentioned the Fab yet - horrible chocolate top-coat with sprinkles, fairly pointless lolly. Wasn't there also a thing called a Feast - chocolate inside, coated in naff chocolate ice-cream?

Just scanned and posted a few classic wrappers here.....

                http://www.ayrshirehistory.com/sweet...e_lollies.html

Thought I was the only one to have a scrap book of this stuff, all those years ago.

Fat Frogs..... Used to love them... Walls used to do them, and then like everything else, they stopped making them. Dinosaurs were pretty much the same type of green flavoured stuff... But they also stopped..

Wish someone could source the old wrigglers again...

                Enjoy the memories

I will gradually add some text and other additions.

Forgot to mention about the Fat Frogs. The HB company in ireland also made them They seemed very slightly different, but they were available a while after Walls stopped making them. But only if you were on holiday of course in Ireland.

And I have forgotten. I have push up wrappers at the bottom of the Ice Lolly page. Were they Walls, Lyons Maid or Dale Farm???

I used to love "Mivvi" not sure whether you can still get them. They had sort of a soft creamy filling with a fruity outside.
