Another great thread. I remember those plastic character lolly sticks, and the jubilee lollies triggered a wave of nostalgia...there was a heatwave that summer so I probably ate a lot of ice lollies! I can't believe that the disco lollies passed me by as I loved John Travolta and Saturday Night Fever is still my all time favourite film and soundtrack. Thanks for sharing
zoom was the best! It was caramel flavoured and I hadn't seen one for years and I found one in Torremolinos along with a Walls Vampire lolly and Cheetos which now seem to be made by Walkers?!
Apologies if this is already on here. I'm trying to remember the name of an ice cream lolly from the late 70's or early 80's that had vanilla ice cream in the centre but the outside had red ice bobbles to look like the seeds of a raspberry. Can anyone help please?
There was the strawberry split which was vanilla ice cream inside with a hard red ice strawberry flavored shell. Unfortunately I cannot remember if the surface was textured or not.

They were very similar to the splits/mivvi's but the outside (I'm guessing was raspberry flavoured) was made up of bobbles that looked like raspberry seeds. I don't think they were in production for very long.
