Well KP got back to me this morning - apparantly there is a couple of people who work there who can remember 'piglets' but they can't find anything in the archieve - and send their apologies.
Seems this is an age old argument KP or Burtons??
I have to say I agree with Daz though that Piglets seem more Burtons style in line with their "puffs". I have searched the net endlessly on many occasions for conformation one way or another as yet there does not seem to be anyBut I live in hope that one day that packet will turn up and we here at DYR will find it
Does anyone remember 'Claws'? I'm sure there were a 'Bone' variety too. I just can't remember what flavour they were but know they weren't pickled onion. Any ideas?
Yeah i remeber Bones and Claws... loved em!... especially Bones!
I think they were pickled onion flavour and salt and vinegar?
Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door!
Oh my word... i loved these things...
Used to have a friend who's parents owned a pub and off license and i used to sit on the counter with a bag of these for hours ( so it seemed) while she served in the off license.... actually thinking about it now im pretty sure she couldnt have been old enough to work in there..
