Spooks Biscuits

Does anyone remember Spooks Biscuits from some time in the 70's?

All I can remember is that there were five characters, and each pack of 10/15 biscuits contained 2/3 of each one, but also had a bonus sticker of one of the characters:

• Lilac Loonie
• Red Devil
• Green Gremlin
• Orange Ogre
• Yellow Peril

Something just prompted this nostalgia for me, and the remembrance that between my brother, my sister and I we were never able to get the set of five stickers, always missing out on Lilac Loonie.

I dont remember them at all:cry: but wish I did, sounds like I've missed out, they sound FAB, hope somebody finds a picture.

Hope you manage to find something, If you do it would be great if you could keep us informed, I looked everywhere and only found the same information as yourself, so it would be of interest if you do manage to find more.

Hi. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This has been bugging me for years - and no-one else of my age group (34!) remembers them and I've searched the web in vain. It would be great to see any of the packaging/cards. I remember loving them. They were really brightly coloured and must have been full of stuff that would get them banned these days! Also that era reminds me of space dust - it would crackle on your tongue!! Fabulous!

I don't remember these at all but just recently I picked up some issues of 'Whizzer and Chips' from a charity shop and looking through them I came across this ad for...yes 'Spooks Biscuits' Hope that it revives a few memories. Ad is from 'Whizzer and Chips' (4th
October 1975)

Interesting that no brand name is shown, so they may have been just a Tescos product.
.In fact, I don't recall seeing them anywhere else!

I was only reading the posts about Spooks biscuits the other day, then I came across these Whizzer and Chips and behold there was the ad, I am so pleased its made your night/day

How do you put the pictures on the way you did with the ad?
