Anybody remember when Maltesers were in a white bag with a red panel? There's a couple i can't quite remember from when i was 4 or 5 so we're looking at early 70's, maybe you guys can help. The first were similar to maltesers but were fruit flavoured (don't think they were poppets or revels) and the second were orange flavoured biscuits covered in chocolate and had a gold wrapper with an astronaut on.

I wonder if you could mean the Secret Bar made by Nestle, thats exactly how another member describes it on the defunct sweets thread.

Heather they are amazing wrapper collections.

    Others I can recall:
Bar six- my all time favourite

Cabana - a chocolate bar filled with coconut and cherry. Probably early 80's.

Pacers - like mint opal fruits with green and white stripes

Pink Panther - an admittedly sickly pink chocolate bar

United - a delicious biscuit with chocolate and honeycomb

Pyramid - made of dark chocolate and filled with mint fondant. IIRC, Leslie "Ding Dong" Phillips was the voice of the Mummy advertising it on tv.

Also, there's a chocolate bar from the 80's, made by one of the big companies. It was filled with mallow and encased in threaded chocolate. Have no idea what the name is.
