Blimey I remember those. Yes I bought them, or rather my parents bought them for me. The chocolate in them was vile though as I recall.

I remember gettng a 'children's smoking set' two xmases in a row

These had the cigs, two choc cigars, a chocolate lighter and a chocolate matchbox

As you said they tasted vile but it felt so cool sitting copying the adults

i had a kids smoking set too!!! mine was all liquorice though!! and those choccy cigs were lousy.

oh yes I remember those chocolate smoking sets...indeed really cheap chocklit.

I remember also having liquorice pipes with the red hundreds & thousands on the end to immitate it being lit.

The chocolate cigarettes always took ages to get the paper off, so we'd wet it with our tongue to loosen it and of course the chocolate would melt all over our faces...a complete mess of melted choc & wet paper.

Apparently the paper was edible, only ate the paper a couple of times, didn't taste too great, it tasted.....well.................like paper.
