OMG I had some once and ate the paper! Only ate one and for me to turn down chocolate there's got to be something wrong with it.

macaroon paper is rice paper and its edible, unlike sweet Ciggies

They might be nowdays, but the ones from the 70's were paper.

Rice paper desolves, the paper on those old ones didn't
