      Thinking back i remember most of the cans were dented and missing ring pulls,but hey they were free.

        Anyone remember Peardrax? its like that but better

        Oh that stuff was my favourite fizzy drink of all time... i still look for it in the hope that somewhere someday ill find a can lurking in the back of an old grocery store.
        I have had Kopparberg cider, its nice but IMHO doesnt come close to Peardrax... sigh!

          Advertising tin from the 60's but the package / label design was exactly the same in the 70's

            I am pretty sure the cans were purple in the eighties,although that may have been Peardrax

              Found this on Amazon.com. Looks like Peardrax could well have been in a purple can.

                I'd never heard of it until now. I think the name sounds like some low-grade lavatory cleaner to be honest .

                              Cydrax = YEUCH!

                              I will always remember when my Dad took us round to see some friends (about 1974 ish) and his wife came out and said "Oh that calls for a celebration drink!"

                              My Dad was expecting a can of beer or even a tot of scotch - but (not wanting to sound ungrateful) what did we get?

                              CYDRAX - URRR Disgusting, acidy brackish water! couldnt manage another one, no honest I just couldnt!

                                Oh I think I forgot to mention - did Corona Pops take on the CYDRAX name? Corona pop with the raised dimples all around the bottle and the slogan "every bubble has passed it's PHIZZZICAL"
