  • Onions in a white sauce

    Hi Everyone

I dont know if your website can help or not. I need to find the name of a food that was available back in the 80s.

It was small silverskin onions in a white sauce. It might have come with peas in it (though Im not sure about this). Ive been told it was possibly frozen.

Is there any way you can help me find the name of this - who made it, and if it is still available (and where!)

    thank you, please help!!!!

ooh don't remember them, but they look absolutely delish!

Are they those baby onions you get at such as wedding receptions?

I LOVE onions..sliced raw as part of a cheese & onion sarnie......fried (oh the smell. I'm salivating!).......pickled onions (big crunchy ones)..and last but not least spring onions (hotter the better!)

I was just thinking about them. Fond memories of quick with these and birds eye cod balls when I was a kid. Birds Eye USA still sell them but like so many foods from Childhood that were great they are felisted in the UK and Birds Eye no longer has any vonnection with Clarence Birds Eye.
