Defunct sweets?

    I looooooooove this site so much and just wanted to ask if anyone recalls any of these sweets from my childhood footballer chews were a kind of light green colour and wrapped in a paper which was kind of white withg footballers on also a box of chocs called weekend i think it had a lemon slice an a yummy kinde of chocolate cup with bits of nut through it yummmeee also a yogi bar which was basically different coloured flavoured slabs of boiled sweets and another penny sweet was a kind of strawberry not like the foamy ones you get now was quite hard and chewy at the same time if yoiu know what i mean

                Spangles ad (1969 I think, so I'll just sneak it in here )

                I'm sure there was a mint (green&white) one like a Pacer but a boiled version obviously

                  A "gay new packet". Really? oooo err. lol !

                  I loved the butterscotch ones but no one else seems to remember those.

                  (I haven't done a thorough forum search, so please forgive if they've been mentioned.)

                        A bit more recent (late 90s), but oh I loved these (apologies if they have been posted before).

                        Nice chocolate, with just a little surprise - at least if you didn't tell anyone what else was in it.

                              Old Seville sounds familiar, but all I can think of is something along the lines of the Ovaltine chocolate bar they made for a while.

                              Thought that Toffos were still around.

                                see my first post. The bars were Old Jamaica and Grande Seville
