This used to be my favourite as a special treat and the Lime cordial was my favourite centre. You had to be careful breaking up the pieces as that one was really runny and you could easliy lose all the filling! What memories
I remember those Milk Tray Bars from the mid 70's. Has anyone else noticed the spelling of 'coconut ice' is 'cokernut ice'!!! How times have changed!! Lime cordial was really nice!
They're all making a spectacular comeback and give it 2 years and I believe there will be an old fashioned sweet shop in every town of over 100,000 people. Having said that, the supermarkets are wise to the game and already stock some of the best selling sweets of days gone by. Things like herbal tablet, buttered brazils, sweet tobaccoo, toffee crumble should remain the preserve of the specialist sweet shop for a few years to come though! James

Reason: removing sales link.
I wish they would bring back Icebreakers. Crispy mint bits in chocolate. Mmmm. Strangely even nicer if they melted in your pocket and reset in the fridge.
Thank you. It's a while since I was on here but looking at these pics really makes my mouth water.
Oh how I wish the sweets were still on the shop shelves. I've just put a thread on about Cadbury Border Creme eggs. Really wish they'd bring them back. They're far nicer than the yellow and white fondant ones.
