Chubblys, Chubbles, Chubblies, Chumbles??????

Doe any one remember these sweets. They were in a packet/tube like fruit pastilles, fruit gums and the like. they were smaller in circumference than a fruit pastille but probably about the same depth. They were like a hard boiled sweet in fruit flavours and although the sides were smooth, they had a bobble top and bottom that was slightly rounded. They weren't sugar coated but they had a very very light dusting of icing sugar on them to stop them sticking to each other in the packet. I loved these sweets, especially the pale lemon/clear ones. Oh happy days!

I do remember these and am now annoyed that I can't think of their name!
I used to have strawberry ones.

Yep! I'm pretty certain. The tube/packet was longer and thinner than fruit gums and pastilles. Just wondering if you are thinking of something different called 'blobs' (I think) or some such name as that because you mentioned having strawberry ones but these were multi fruit flavours, you couldn't get them in just one flavour. there were blackcurrant, strawb, orange, lemon, lime and the pale lemony white ones (they were my favourites, they tasted like the white ones in modern day haribo teddy bears gums) 'Blobs' as I think they were called came in strange flavours like toffee apple & strawb & cream.

It's definitely not Blobs, but I'm not sure if it is the same sweet as you describe I'm thinking of.
