Frozen orange juice

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone remembers the small tins of frozen orange juice that you could get in the 70's? I think they were called something like Jaffa and you'd freeze it and then when you wanted a drink, you'd have to thaw it out.
I can remember eating it frozen once as I couldn't wait because orange juice was a luxury in our house as cheap orange squash in 5 litre bottles was the norm. The frozen juice was nothing like a lolly as I hoped it would be!

Hmm,don't remember those.I do remember buying cola Qwenchy Kups and freezing them!!They were the biz!

I'm not remembering frozen juice, but I do remember what I think were jars of juice. They came from the supermarket that had a pattern like three orange segments on the wall in the stores (anyone know which supermarket this was? That's all I can remember of it). I wasn't keen on it because it had bits in it. I think we got the grapefruit juice jar quite often and mam would put about half an inch of sugar in the bottom in a bid to make me drink it!

I remember frozen cans of orange juice! I think it was concentrated and you had to add water.

I've seen a few adverts (magazine) for Birds Eye frozen orange juice, they come from 60's magazines though

I think they were Birds Eye, and were for sale in Sainsburys, I always wanted one but Mum said that they were expensive! so didnt get one! Ithink I was 6 so 1971 memory here.

Heather,that actually looks familier.Tricky,I think I know what you are talking about.Was the jar not kinda bumpy?Was it Del Monte juice?

My Nan use to buy the bumpy jars of Grapefruit juice too

It was made by other company's too, but I picked the most well known one for here

I was quite young so I can't remember what the jar was like or who made it. Sounds like it was probably the bumpy ones you were referring to though.

Been having a look online,but can't find a pic of them anywhere.Maybe it wasn't Del Monte,I really can't remember.
