My sister had that kind of till as well, it might be still up our loft if my parents didn't give it away.

I had one very similar with a coin sorter, which was nice as I could roll the coins down it in a random order & it would let them fall into the right sized tube for each value.

Unfortunately the main till part broke & the above was purchased to replace it.

How much does a First edition of a Green Shields stamps catalogue go for?

add to that Green Shield stamps!! that was a long long time ago!!

What about Embassy coupons !!! We used to get loads of stuff from that catalogue. No wonder the walls were yellow at home

Wow! These are amazing pictures that take me right back. Even seeing the Ideal logo has transported me. I had lots of those toys. I adored my ballerina Sindy and Girls World. I'd love to get my hands on more of those catalogues.

I remember my mother having in the late 1970's catalgues where you had to save up via coupons. They could have been Green Shield. I'm guessing from what other posters have said that there was more than one company doing the voucher scheme?

...although some of these can cost an arm and a leg now,you can pick up the odd scanned versions on Cd.I got a couple of these recently..

Wow I've been searching for some old catalogues for ages. The CD scans sound perfect, where did you get them from please? If they are not available still could I buy a copy of them (pretty) please?

I saw a 1981 Traffords catalogue for sale on eBay a while back and was tempted to buy it but it went for a few quid more than I wanted to pay.

That Argos catelogue is cool! Any more pages to share?
