I remember seeing the Matey adverts on tv,and fell for the '' KIDS '' hype.My mum got it and i loved it.I never really got to grips with figuring out if it was a bubble bath or a shampoo. It looked too much like Vosene shampoo when in my hand. lol

I was allergic to it....or so my parents said!! Perhaps it was just a ploy to stop me constantly asking for it

Why were so many of us not allowed to have Matey? It was washing up liquid in our house! Was Matey expensive? The adverts were always on TV so no wonder we all harped on for it. You don't seem to get adverts like that aimed directly at kids any more. I bought some for myself a couple of years ago to see what I had missed. It was colour change Matey - went from blue to orange in the water. I was quite impressed!

It must have been expensive, I remember quoting one of the adverts to try and get Mum to buy it for us "It also gets the bath clean" 2 products for the price of one lol
