this is just so sad.
i knew he had suffered strokes over the yrs but its till sad to hear the voice of blockbusters has gone.
at least he died peacefully.

Bob Holness narrated many of my Fleet Air Arm/Air Force Documentaries, His clarity of voice came over in the narrative, great voice over ,great fast whitted guy.

Not many people will be missed this year - 2012 - , But for me, Bob Holness will....XXX

he was also big into the theatreIn 1961, Holness became the host of UK game show take a letter.

he moved to the uk to ashford kent when he was seven in 1936.
